Montreal 2 - 3 Kendal
The Kendal managed to win their 11 consecutive league game last night, but it was close.
The third game ended up being the decider. Both Pete and Mick struggled and with the scores close Mick played too softly at a ball over the left 50 hole. Pete kept his nerve (and heart) in check to score about 750 as the bar dropped.
As usual, a good night with the Montreal guys, with jokes and friendly banter a plenty.
D. Robins 630 - J. Perrin 5980 B. Mecham 800 - D. Richings 1870 M. Barsby 1460 - P. Muckle 1790 G. Mecham 3570 - A. Cross 940 S. Burns 1940 - P. Witcomb 160
Nige, could you post the result from the Stadium/Brewery Tap game when you get it? Cheers

Brewery Tap B 2 - 3 Stadium D
The Stadium faught back from 2 down to win
I have a note from Carol saying that they will be playing the last 2 fixtures - 18/4 v B.Tap 25/4 v. Kendal
Don't forget 25th April is finals night, but I think no players are involved so that is ok, but it would be nice to see some of you there, so if you can play earlier that will be good.
The match on 25th will effectively decide the title, a win or loss against the Tap on the 18th makes little difference, as the Kendal and the Stadium are currently level on points, and the Kendal will win on difference if they win their last game.
Also well done to the Kendal on agreeing to play the match as if they claimed it they would automatically be champions.

Just to let everybody know, the Stadium/Kendal game on the 25th has been arranged for a 7pm start. Hopefully we will not miss to many games of the finals.
As we will certainly miss a game with two Div 2 players in it, I would like to say good luck to Gary & Roy.
