i just wanted to say thanks to all who helped or played in the 18 hour marathon at the brewers arms burgess hill on the 24th aug 2008 in aid of the parkinsons society mid-sussex branch. :) a special thanks to my team ( the only way is up ) for playing for the 18 hours, and by doing a raffle and raiseing a great total of :) £ 2017.00 in total :) the team; mat wright, sarah hughes, nigel bransby, russ jennings, peter shaw, and kev stevens, we will still be supporting the society each week when we (if) we knock a peg down we put in 10p each time 50p a black. thank you all again for your support, nigel bransby :)

Congratulations to Nigel and his team, great effort to raise that much...... and an even better excuse to spend 18 hours in the pub playing our great game! ;) 8-)
I will certainly contribute towards the cause if I knock any pegs over when we play you in a couple of weeks time. ;D

Very well done to the only way is up, a very worthy cause and a terrific sum raised.
Used to see these formats played a few years bck, but not seen anyone else do it in recent years. Hope you all enjoyed the challange and not worse for wear.

thank you for your kind words it means a lot that fellow players will still suport the parkinsons society.at home games we wil still wear parkinsons t shirts and i will when we'r away. maybe next year we can do anouther one with one player from each team playing from the leauge, and raseing money for there own pub charity? what do you think? nb.
