It was The three Horseshoes last home match against the Romans A tonight
Three Horseshoes 3 Romans A 2
The horseshoes took the first three legs wins from Sir KT, Myself and Ian.
Lady H fell approx 300 short of winning her match and Nigel was about 1k short when the bar dropped unfortunately he Knocked the black peg trying to put the red in the 200 hole after leaving his one up short enough to do so.
A good evening had by all and a lovely curry to finish the evening off.

Montreal 4 - 1 Stadium
Well fought win by the Mont last night. I got very lucky when Brian Muggeridge had done enough to win with a 5k+ break but then lost his score by missing the ball completely. Wayne gets man of the match by putting us 2-0 up and hitting over 7k after you take the handicaps off. Bring on the semis.

Wellie 5 - 0 (1 aet) Albion
The Wellie started off badly with a lack of players. At 8:30 our captain Dave was still waiting for a bus and Roy still wasn't back a course in London.
1. Luckily Chris Parsons stepped up to play the first game against Bella. Things were not going right for either of them (Kitty was let down to distract everyone) but Chris came out on top. 2. With Dave still AWOL, I played myself in the next against Kev. Kev left the balls short of the holes most of the time, whilst I had a rush of sh-one-t to the brain and scored over 7k to win. 3. Captain Wonderful had arrived and immediately put Garry on against Doug. A similar game to mine with Garry having that rush as well. 4. Pete was put on against Jeans daughter (I'm sorry I didn't catch her name, much groveling needed). After being asked to take it easy on the newcomer, Pete went off with 2k. If you take this break off the final scores, he only won by 500. 5. A very tired Roy had arrived back during the forth game and was put in to bat No5. Alan and Roy had a really scrappy game in which I don't think I had to touch the score board for the first 5 minutes. Although pegs were a different matter. Roy ended up winning to round off a whitewash.
Until....
6. Doubles. Sandra? and Jean Mk2 and against Dave & Garry. After giving away handicaps rounded to 1300, Dave & Garry could do little right and failed to overtake their opponents.
A good night was had. A shame that the Albion team didn't have much pizza. It was, maybe, their own fault for having so many players to choose from.

Windmill 1 Brewery Tap 4
A very entertaining evening with the Tap outplaying the Windmill, who only had Gina to thank for a win. Great banter, and the threat that losers for the Tap were to be transported home on the roof rack.
