Yup well played guys, my team did not take its chances in a high scoring match.
Betteshanger table was excellent but it's never one you can attack on and patience is the key.
Two 2k pairs limit games with both sides scoring 5k!!

Thanks Chris. We seem to be doing a bit of a Hull at the moment, and will enjoy it while it lasts. Anyway, here is the report as promised:
Betteshanger Club 2 Market Inn A 4 Unbeaten leaders Betteshanger Lions succumbed to an unexpected defeat at home to the Market Inn A. Chris Saville (10,460) put Betteshanger ahead with an opening 7,300 break, but Derek Latham (8,780) opened with 7,600 to win for the visitors. Craig Carlson beat John Adley 5,130-3,320 to give advantage to the Market Inn as the bar came too early for Adley chasing and on the break. Some excellent doubles saw a plethora of max2000s. Latham & Ted Hogben beat Adley & Wack Sampson 5,750-5.040 to ensure the Sandwich side could not lose, Saville & Adley edged Carlson & Latham 5,420-5,320, and finally Hogben & Carlson defeated Sampson & Neville Potts 5,130-3,170 for match victory. The Market Inn A are now the only remaining undefeated side in the division.
