Wellie b 3 - 2 Windmill
Game 1. Ric beat Nick in very close game. 0-1 Game 2. Dave beat Tim in another close game. Tim lost by 800ish which didn't really reflect on the game. 0-2 Game 3. Mark beat Gina in as slightly one sided game. 1-2 Game 4. I played Arther. I had a game that, I must admit, had I a small amount of luck. Arther, on the other hand, had no luck at all. 2-2 Game 5. Pete had to win against Bill for the win. Pete has been having some problems with his cueing action and has started to play left handed. It didn't help his game to much. Not as much as Bill taking out the Black Peg twice. The final score read something like 770 - 0. 3-2
A good come back by the Wellie team.
Other scores.
Wellie A beat the Romans B but I cannot remember the score. Kendal 4 - 1 Romans A. The Kendal are on a roll, continuing from where they left off last season.

Big game at the Dyke as Racey’s team took on the Tap A
Game 1 – Lloydy struggled and in the end reverted to playing 50 holes but did more than enough to beat Moppy. 0-1
Game 2 – Molloy broke off with 3k and Reevesey responded with a great 3 baller to get the balls back. Chris broke down a couple of hundred in front missing a 50-10 split. Terry got the balls back and killed the game with another 3k. 1-1
Game 3 – Richard struggled also, as the Dyke was proving tricky. However, terry Coghlan couldn’t get the balls back and Richard could and he killed it on his 3rd (I think) attempt at the break. 1-2
Game 4 – Mick Hall set up the decider, only offering one chance to Marc Chipman. After a 3k start., it was Mick that got the balls back first. 2-2
Game 5 – Big decider Nigel Senior v Terry Race. Nigel broke off with only 600, missing both balls on a 50-20 split. Terry missed and Nigel got the balls back again, looking more settled until he stuck the one up behind with only a 3k lead on the board. Terry was unlucky again on his next visit, making good contact with a ball behind the 30 and getting nothing. Nigel cleared up and made enough on his 3rd go at the break, touching up on a lead of 8k. 2-3
Good win for the champions, on a very tricky Dyke top, which was a far cry from the table they scored 92k on last season. All games went with the break, but noone broke off with more than 4k, but it was also very difficult to get the balls back.
