Albion 3 - 2 Wellie B
Wins for Jean, Bella and Alan for the Albion. Mark and Tim made it respectful for the Wellie.
Wellie A 1.5 - 3.5 Dyke A(?) Dave Bratrum continues his run of form whilst Brad managed to draw.
Kendal 3 - 2 Windmill The Kendal are back to winning ways. Isn't it strange how they have improved since I moved teams!

A slightly lacklustre post Jersey display from the champions, but they maintain their unbeaten record with a w3-2 win over the Romans A at home.
Brewery Tap A 3-2 Romans A
Richard Wooton 2,870 – 6,060* Terry Stapleton Marc Chipman 4,940 – 1,530* Dave Nicholls Gareth Lloyd 8,120 – 1,850* Dave Roberts Nigel Senior 3,720 – 1,540* Toni Hunt Chris Reeves 2,040 – 2,110 * Bert Williams
Game 1 – I don’t think I have ever seen so many flukes by one person in one game. Everything Terry touched turned to gold – he would have only had to turn up to Jersey last weekend to win it with the luck he had! Richard also had trouble with a keen spectator who seemed to want a player’s eye view of his shot so, much to Richard’s chagrin, this guy decided to get this view by looking directly over Richard’s shoulder. Although Richard kept his cool (ahem) he missed which effectively ended his chances. 0-1
Game 2 – In the funniest game of bar billiards I have ever seen, we had fist pumping (from Dave), thigh slapping (from Marc), vocal shot celebrations (from Dave) and camp hand gestures (from Marc). Camp hand gestures won the day as Marc won with a 3k break early in the game. 1-1
Game 3 – Although all square 10 minutes in, Gareth stepped it up with a 7k break to make the score 2-1.
Game 4 – Giant-Killer Toni hunt went off with 1,000, against Nigel, Nigel came back with 2k, but then proceeded to peg breaks of 6k and 2k, to hand the break back and a last chance to Toni with 3 minutes left. Toni couldn’t finish the game off and the Tap had their winning leg. 3-1
Game 5 – New player Bert went off with 1,000 and Chris pegged his opener. The game went a bit scrappy and Bert got the balls back later only to lose around 1,500. Chris then got the balls back again and got enough to leave the 100 hole to win. Chris missed, Bert missed, Chris missed again and then Bert sunk it to make the score 3-2.
Well done the Romans on a good effort, and the Tap will have to perform better to stay on track to retain their title.

I forgot to mention something earlier.
Mister insufferably smug, I've got a 100% win record, but I'm only a Div 2 player Parsons lost last night. :'( :'(
I just thought I'd mention it. ;D ;D

Nigel, you must have forgotten the '1' before all the Tap scores. :o
It's a transparent ploy to lull Redhill into a false sense of security when we visit you to play this Sunday. ;)
Will there be karaoke b.t.w. ? ;D

Well played the Kendal last night, facts are that all games were close and no scores to write home about. Kendal went three up with wins for Pete Whitcomb, Chris Darville, and Pete Muckle. Save faces for Windmill by Gina and Rick. Good evening had by all, apologies for the misunderstanding after the third game.

Although Dewdney and Senior will be reunited for the first time since their debut performance, I am not sure there will be Karaoke or even the lesbian action that enthralled us all last year (oh any lesbian action will definitely NOT involve me and Ricky). However, it will be entertaining ;)

P.S in disguise ? ;D Oh dear, not much for us to look forward to : no karaoke with Ken and Barbie, no combine harvester, no lesbian action, handpumping, thigh-slapping or even camp hand gestures. :'( At least no Chubb to stick it past us with 18k in the decider. ;) The food had better be good. ;D
