Yep, and thanks again to Neville for scoring the match. Hoping to get an update soon from Nev for his game against Baz, as they were playing directly afterwards....

Nev beat Baz Symes 2-0 - got 11K in first game and he started with 3K+ in second leg but Nev got break back an put himself in front by 3K with 2 mins left!
Any thoughts on paying a bit more for some festive fodder at your shed next week?
We won 4 - 2 again tonight, nearly there!!

Sav & the GingerWiz beat Callanan & Higgens 2 - 0. Sav opened with 9½k in the first and Mike played the rest out In the second Mike opened with 3½k and the Savster got back to break and tapped on 7k. See you tomorrow Craig!! got the Christmas meal organised? ;D so long as there's plenty of Real Ale Sav

...and can I add to the above report that GingerWiz scored brilliantly all night, despite the random numbers being shouted in the hall next door from the Bingo caller! ;)
See you tonight Craig - looking forward to a few beers with some good friends 8-)

Hi Craig, The results from the pairs match between Wack Sampson & John Addley Vs Roger Oldfield & Steve Lake that was played tonight at the Royal Oak.
Sampson & Addley 2 – 0 Oldfield & Lake
Lake started with an opening break of 1300, and then Addley got the break back but only managed 750. Everyone had a couple more goes each before Sampson clinched the game with a 1400 break as the bar dropped. The second leg Addley opened with a break of 2700 then, again, everyone had a couple of goes each before Lake got the break back but knocked the white peg over and lost his 1200 break. Sampson then got the break back to win the second leg
Many thanks
John

Just lost Open Pairs to Alan Farra & Gareth Butcher, so ending probably the worst week of bar billiards I can remember! Played 14 legs (in various comps) won 2, lost 12. Lost to John Higgens Monday night in Div 1, seen hopes of runners-up in Winter League dashed by two poor results, and now out of the Pairs. >:(
Mixed Doubles last hope now, so if you read this Karen, I hope you're on form (don't think I am) ;)
