Not a good night for the Bridge with the Black Horse playing a bit more like what were used to. :(
We went 3 nil down with wins for Jan,Dave Todd and Ric over Marc,Kev and Jean.Lee won his game on the last ball against Dave Knight and Alan beat Roger to make it a bit more respectable.
Horns Lodge 2 Droops 3
Will wait for Sir Jocks report table very tricky due to being moved for Scaletrix at weekend ???

Brewers Steal another dodgy victory over the Horned Ones
Brewers 3 Horns Lodge 2
Dave Guildford B/P Sir Jock 1480 Me and Dave up first on what can only be described as a disaster of a table, having been moved the day before for a charity Scalectrix thing, the table was virtually unplayable, up hill by a mile and rolling at least a ball and a half right all over. Still Dave and I had an entertaining match if nothing else.
Ben Procter 640 Andy Farmer Wright 2900 More nonsense play, with big Ben getting more and more annoyed with his home top as the game went on, Andy was ever 'comfortable' and didn't really look like losing.
Steve Smith 2210 Peter Hall 2050 After a brief but much needed relevelling of the table with the help of jocks trusty table levels, we progressed onto game three, some iffy scoring went on here, but upshot was papa hall 180 behind scored 150 but was then told he still needed the 200, which he potted and still lost??????
Geoff Winson 2710 Adam Bateup 1930 A good solid back of the table scrap from captain Winson brought the home team level, Adam played well but invaribl lost more than he scored. Geoff still struggled with the break on his newly adjusted top, Adam managed to get it back a couple o times but failed to capitalise.
Nick Pitcher 800 Sandra Race 3300 Nick struggled throught the match, havin had the tip knocked of his cue early doors by yours truely, a quick repair job, but Sandra finishing the night with the highest score of the night was just to strong.
A great night with much entertainment and hilarity over the table condition, but having gone 2-0 up then resetting the table and promptly losng the following to provided far more light hearted banter. The Horned ones graceful in defeat, and the Brewers glad for the win.
