Don't worry Big Nige IF a second table does go into the 'Shed' it would be for a wandering Mid Sussex team, but as nothing is settled yet it would not be right to say more, but I'm sure you'll find out soon enough if it does happen.

Yes sorry nige on the late reply, only just got the relevent details myself.
So due to the Royal Oaks unfortunate closure, Mike and Wendy have agreed to put a second table in at the Brewers, for the first time ever. As Adam prevously mentioned it will be placed down in the 'pool shed', or the knocking shop for those who are in the know lol. As per conversation with Mike tonight, it should be in there tomorrow (tues) in time for them to play their first match this week.
So we extend a warm and friendly welcome to the Ladies, and Russ, although I think the warmth will soon disappear in our notoriously cold pool room. We will do our best to warm it up for them tho.

Cold does not equal good standards of tables!! I know cos the fish table went a bit dodgy during the really cold spell this winter. Nonetheless Mike and Wendy are being very generous by giving the Royal Oak a new home, and I guess its just another excuse to come and cause some mischief at the Brewers one further time this season!

Hopefully, the table will be set up properly once it has had a chance to settle into it's new home........ the main table at the Brewers seems to be playing well at the moment and I am sure that Droops & Bravos will help their new "room mates" to get the new table playing well, although the cold air in the pool room will affect it as pointed out by H. :( I have my Lewes Singles at the Brewers on Friday evening, so will hopefully have a chance for a knock on the new table afterwards. 8-)
