The Betteshanger Club drew their home game against Plough & Harrow, Bridge 3-3 in the latest round of the Spring Cup competition. Neville Potts (7,260) started well for the home side, scoring well in the 3k maximum break rules, but the visitors hit back as Ian Dennett (5,050) beat Chris Saville. John Addley (3,630) won the last singles game thanks to a late maximum break to restore the homes side's lead. The doubles matches were all close games, as Saville & Wack Sampson (2,120) won for the Betteshanger side to put them 3-1 ahead, but victories by Dennett & Baz Symes (1,750) and then Keith Symes & Dennett (1,220) saw them snatch a draw to keep the Group wide open at this stage.
Thanks! Neville
