It would appear that he is going to have a busy 6 weeks or so Can someone please let me know M Pope is the one and only Micky Pope who plays in Alan Messer's team at the Windmill. It is his first season in Worthing but has played for many, many years in Brighton.

Phil Oakley beat Tony Jenner 2 - 0 on the above table, and yes one would have to call it interesting, and certainly a leveller.

bigtj said the Tarring Club table is a "leveller" and "interesting" while petem commented "Nuff said". I don't know whether they mean it's not up to standard but some good scores have been registered on that table this year. Steve Mariner was the first to play on it this year in a league game and scored 10K plus. Kevin Tunstall scored well on it (I do know both of these can play on a kitchen table with a broom handle and score well) but others have done well. Like a lot of tables today they sometimes need to warm up before producing their best so maybe playing them cold would have had something to do with "interesting" and being a "leveller". :) Am I being a bit defensive of my own table or do people still remember it as it was before?

I was not saying that it was not up to standard just that we struggled on it.Neither myself or Mick Pope managed to get the break back in our 2 games
