My personal thanks go to the outgoing secretary Bob Hurley who has done an outstanding job for us over many years. I know people have not always seen eye to eye with him,but in a post that is always going to cause differences, he has taken decisions that might upset some, but have always been taken with integrity and the leagues best interest at heart.

Hope to see you around, and I know the last couple of years have not been easy with the issues of ill health, and the growing pressures of the post.

Enjoy your retirement from the committee, and hopefully once you have considered all we will see you playing in the league, as I certainly value as a friend and a great bar billiard adversary.

During your time as Secretary I have had the privilege of working with you as Chairman or Vice Chairman and have seen your efforts in making Worthing one of the more successful leagues in the country.
