Well done England, who stuck to the task even when Ponting and Hussey were starting to look as if they could re-write the record books. :o

Two superb run outs and a brilliant stumping by Matt Prior turned the game, with Graham Swann and Steve Harmison being the pick of the bowlers this time. ;)

Just brilliant England. :) :) I watched most of the last day and i was just getting a little nervous when Ponting and Hussey were in control. Once Ponting went i knew the Ashes were coming home, but they were made to fight all the way. Brilliant performance by Broad and Trott. Now for the one dayers ( I Think)

Great weekend of sport, topped off by winning the Ashes!

So fitting that Freddie got the run out of Ponting to turn the match back in our favour.

With the world athletics and grand prix on too I didn't move much from my sofa all weekend!
