You're not going to believe this but...
C.K.R.B.L:2 BEERMATT BREWERS:3
Ted:3620 Spud:4260 An eventful game. I opened up wtih 2k but, after some backbaord play, Ted got them back to bring it about level. Soon after, i got a massive slice of luck when a straight shot into the 50 hole kicked back violently and landed plum in the 200. Ted eventually ran out of time despite being on break at the end. Derek:7400 Matt:1690 Derek pegged his opener and Matt helped himself to a grand before Derek came back full-bore to take the frame in style. Dilly:1640 Paul:2580 Both players had abortive goes at break but much of this game was played at the back, with Paul quite content to load the back of the table up once he had established a lead. Pete Edwards:1030 Peter Shaw:1730 Mr. Edwards pegged his break and endured a torrid frame from then on in, having no luck at all. Mr. Shaw played very well at the end to clich us the match. Jenny:3870 Lynne:720 A family grudge-match in the last that was decided by an excellent 2.5k break early on from Jenny.
As always, a good night at the Legion, many thanks to the hosts for a good night out.

Jean 7030 Spencer 3920 Jean gave Spence his chances but twice he left his one up short leaving Jean to kill the game off.
Nigel 10 820 Paul 2110 Paul broke off with 1800 , Nige played superbly and touched up on 10k before getting a bit scrappy at the back of the table.
