Still awaiting our skipper to join us officially, so I will have to give our results for now.
Corner House at home to Three Pigeons. 6-0 but they were without their star man who was called away to work just before the match and got my wife to stand in.
Just as well Micky was playing Pat, with him fluffing up his initial 2k break and not being able to pot a ball for 10 minutes after that. He somehow managed to win on the last ball 1250 - 1200.
He did better in the 2nd leg, scoring 7k.
I only had 3 mins practise, only arriving at 8.25, not enough for your first match on a new top, so I took time to settle, had a "kick" and then a skinny break where the ball must have moved as I hit it (NOTE THAT'S AT LEAST FOUR GOOD EXCUSES IN ONE SENTENCE which must be a world record).
I somehow managed a 6k and a 7k against Kevin Bull.
Bob made 4k and 2k in his two games against Tony Bull.
Does that sound like an awful lot of Bull?

We won 4-2 at home against Bletchingdon A. Not that much to talk about really apart from table not playing well at all. Not our fault, the "new" slate is warped and we have to wait for a new one to be imported from Italy which will arrive in a few weeks !!! 2 wins for me against Pete Soanes, with Keith Hollis and Andy Skinner sharing theirs and Ben Scott and Geoff Powell sharing theirs.
