Tandem B 3 - 3 Corner House B
Mark Trafford 1 - Steve Huntley 1
Mark lost a 5.5K break in his first before amassing a second break of 6K and tapping this time
Keith Hollis 2 - 0 Tony Harvey
Nicked the second game with a 2.5K break at the death on the bar
Dave Gordon 0 - 2 Dave Bartlett
Fair result on reflection of the games. The scores went down as the night went on as the table changed and got trickier

Tandem A 4 - 2 Tandem B
Ian 1 - 1 Mark Greg 2 - 0 Ian Ray 1 - 1 Keith
Mark won the first game with a nice break and then Ian returned the favour in the second with a 6K break that pretty much used up the remaining time.
Ian Gordon was so unlucky in his second against Greg losing by approx 100 as he tried to pot two balls but was unlucky and manged to pot the last 3 in one shot.
I managed to take my first ever frame of Ray last night when Ray whipped the peg from the 100 just short of 3K and then I managed a break of just over 4.5K which took a while due to my consistent ability of losing balls down the bottom after the 1 up but managed to keep going for long enough. Ray chased but missed early and I got another 1000 making the game mine.
Second game was a different story with Ray taking his time to make sure of the frame and match win as we were 3 - 2 down. I was 7K down before I really had a chance.
From a fair balance the draw almost came out perfect with Greg meeting Ian, Mark pulling Ian and Ray playing myself. Not the best draw for us but I thought the draw was a favourite result at the start.

Yes, Ian won with a break of about 5.5k in 10.5 minutes >:( You would think, well maybe he was all over the place and kept losing balls, but you would be wrong, almost all splits were in the 100 pocket >:( Deliberate slow play annoys me >:(
Rant over :)

Bletchingdon 4 - Tandem 2
Milly 1 - 1 Keith Pete 2 - 0 Ian Geoff 1 - 1 Mark
I had the pleasure of playing first and struggled to come to terms with the rolls. Just about coming to terms with them as the first game ended although after the frustrations of the first game I made a better job in the second so 1 - 1 was a fair result
Ian drew Pete who played steady and won both games with a comfortable score through multiple breaks.
Mark lost the first game at the death chasing falling just a few hundred shortonly for Geoff to suffer a similar fate at the end of the second game. Jeoff's chase ended on a BP going for the 400 with the red at the end.
Not the easiest of away tables in this league.
