Bridge 4 U.S.C1 Scores to follow Yes, a good result for the current leaders against the defending champions..... :'( Jean Brackenridge 5,730 - 3,800* Dave Ingram I opened with about 2.5k, the balls then stayed at the back for a while before Jean knocked in a nice 4k+ half-way through the game to take the win with me unable to get the break back. ::) 1-0 Alan Brackenridge 920* - 7,780 Bill Kerr Alan left his first one up short and never got going, Bill had a couple of useful breaks to maintain his 100% record. 8-) 1-1 Nigel Senior 9,710 - 4,030* Henry Brooks Henry looked comfortable at 2.5k on his opening break until he pushed his one up behind, Nigel had a couple of bits of luck on the way to a very good 8k+ break. :( 2-1 Kevin Stoner 3,680* - 2,770 Tony Jenner Very scrappy game with several chances for both players to make sure of the game.... which neither took. Kevin did enough when it mattered to seal the win for his team. :'( 3-1 Marcus Chipman 5,610 - 2,410* Gina Sherratt Gina built up an early lead before Marc knocked in a good break to take the game and retain his 100% record. ;) 4-1 Lots of lovely sausage, mash, beans and yorkshire puddings to end an enjoyable evening...... despite the result. ;D Well played the Bridge team who have now opened up a 5 point lead..... but, luckily, we have a game in hand. :P

Better late than never i suppose.
BREWERS DROOPS:5 BEERMATT BREWERS:0
Pete Hall:3920 Pete Shaw:890 Nice and solid from Mr. Hall Andy:5660 Lynne:2830 Lynne played well and look like she might cause an upset but the Farmer eventually got going to make it safe. Bravo:2760 Paul:B/P These Wednesday team mates didn't want to beat each each other it seemed. Paul had to go for the 200 with the red ball to win but clipped the peg sadly. Bobhall:5960 Spud:3620 A pretty decent game that was decided by bobs 4k break. I ran out of time when on break at the end. Jock:6450 Sarah:1700 Sarah also played well but was unlucky to loose her second 1k+break of the frame and Jock stepped in to apply the brush well.
Another white-wash but everyone largely felt that they had played well and enjoyed a good evening. Cheers all.
