Team Cup – Dun Horse V Roffey SSC @ Stout House
Birthday boy Colin on first. Didn’t really get to grips with the table, Lee fared rather better and took the frame for Roffey. Pete broke off in the second leg, managed to get a few in front of Scott. Close-ish game with Scott scoring a sufficient break in the closing stages to claw one back for the Dun. Grant started the third with a break of 50! Up steps Micky and winds in an answering break of…..220..!!! Scrappy game to start before Micky got the run of the table with a couple of breaks. Grant struggled to get balls to drop at the top of the table. Geriatrics took over in the fourth frame with Supersub Keith playing Dick. Dick broke off with a couple of thousand. Keith, like Grant, struggled to get the balls in at the top of the table and couldn’t manage to dent Dick’s early lead. With the match already decided, there was no pressure on Twiggy to win on his Tuesday home top..! Dave broke with under a thousand, Twiggy followed with 1500. After a couple of low scoring pokes each, Dave finally got his head down and put in a couple of reasonable breaks to make the frame safe. Twiggy trying for a ball behind the 100, took the black out just before the bar dropped.

A good result tonight in which the Dun Horse successfully fought off Roffey Club to gain entry to the Plate Competition. ;D
A very good night out with lots of friendly banter. Many thanks to the Stout House for an excellent spread of food. (Some of which will be appearing in lunchboxes tomorrow.) ;D

Team Cup - Stout House Z v Crown @ Dun Horse
Sorry no scores. The Zeds managed a 3-2 win thanks to Rick`s excellent performance in the last game with the highest score of the night, just under 10k. Vern and Junkie also won, myself and Dorsal lost. :)

Alfold SC V Stout House 'A'
Alfold SC 4.5 Stout House 'A' 0.5
1st Round Cup
Fisrtly apologies no scores as a bit jaded after a jolly day out! ::)
However, I can recall the result and the order Alfold played in,
Garry Fishburn and opponent drew the game ( Only 2nd time I have seen this)
Major Minor won the Second
Trevor won the third 8-) (yes I actually one a game, though opponent Adam was not at his best, thankfully)
Major took the fourth frame
and Robin secured a convincing win with the fifth.
A great night, plently of Banter and thank you to The Blue Ship, for providing sandwiches.
