Three Horseshoes v Schooner
Dave Ingam * opens with a nice 10k and touches leaving KT not enough time to catch. KT replies with over 2k and catches split wrong. 2470-10780 0-1
Chris Lawman * opens with just over 2k, Dave Anscombe break back only to miss on second attempt. Chris 6k touch. 8010-1600 1-1
Bill Kerr * misses ball at 2k, only for Ian Lelliott to do same at 2k. It then develops into a game of pegs before Ian gets break back to once again break down at aroud 2k, with time running down Bill gets them back to get out of jail 2040-3410 2-1
Kev Hall * opens with 2k and first back on break to add another 5k. TJ gets tham back with time enough but misses split at 3k, gets em back again adds another 2k to play table out 7800-5840 2-2
All down to the last and Rick Cunningham off at 1.5k Geoff Jukes gets them back only to miss break on 2nd attempt. Rick bits and pieces, whilst Geoff cannot retrieve break, builds a winning lead 2640-4300 2-3
A good win for the Schooner, if somewhat fortuitous, told hot dogs, chips and onion rings excellent fare.

Result from Tuesday Wellie B 2 Romans B 3 I also had a text to say that The Prince of Wales beat The Brewery Tap 3-2 Your text was correct Reg, a first win of the season for the POW shame it was at our expense :'( Kim 1820 - 1750 Matt John 2400 - 610 Rose Ali 410 - 1330 Dan Dave 1440 - 1400 Adam - game of the night Adam had two balls left and needed 120 to win, the first ball went in the 20 but agonisingly for us the other ball rolled in the 50 to guarantee the home team victory. Trace 810 - 2810 Phil Table was very tricky with dodgy rolls galore, reminded me of the old Tap table! Well done to the POW on their victory and thanks to Trace for the food and hospitality

Very true but our limited skills of 'looking after' I am afraid did not work
