A 6-page Horsham website for you, hosted by Mid Sussex.Almost complete, apart from the 12 years prior to 1975 to be added (will be a full day's work) - plus I have no records since 1999 when my team the Black Dog transferred to the Redhill League............. So if anyone has kept League Tables for the 21st century for the Horsham League, please submit them to me and I will be happy to publish them ! 8-)

Thank you Clive.
You have put a massive amount of effort into this project & have taken it further than I have in as much as commiting the final league tables to computer I will send you over what I have since I have been doing the job,
There may be a couple of missing years in between But I think Mr Smither may be able to supply that info.
Ian.

My pleasure, Ian, but thanks for the kind comments which are always appreciated. 8-) Those from Sparky via e-mail too. ;)
It will be great to have a 99%-complete record of the Horsham League over 5 decades, especially in its Jubilee Year !
I will incorporate a newsflash section for you on the front page, as well as a link to the Horsham Board of the Forum.
Hopefully in time we can can get some interest in the web pages going among your members, which in turn could prompt some healthy discussion and reminiscences about 'old times' on the Forum.
Maybe a year from now there will be justification for Horsham to have a standalone Website - with special pages for the Billingshurst League ! :-/

Info up to 2008 2009 Season sent.
1999 to 2001 2002 have Winner & Runner up only at the moment. with notes on how the formats were including when we had a split Premier & Divison 1, when we went to 2 sperate divisions playing 3 times & then when we went all plays all.
It would be good this did promote a heallthy discussion ;D ;D

Excellent work Clive. (and Ian)
Very interesting reading that really highlights the quantity of venues, teams and players that have been lost over the past few years.

Ok, I've now applied the final touches, and you can now see your Web pages in their completed state. Recent additions which may be of interest: - Note of Finals Night; Details of HDBBL's Committee.
- League records going back as far as 1963.
- A rapid link to a website showing pubs in the Horsham District.
The website is bulging somewhat and I daren't add too much more for risk of losing information already entered. (Had a scare yesterday and some data got corrupted, but fortunately I was able to restore using the back-up). So the only way to include extra records for Horsham such as the Averages which I have (dating back to when we first compiled them in 1981) and Horsham's involvement in Interleague would be for it to have its own website - for which someone will have to purchase a domain. If you can live with what you have at the moment, all being well I will address this at the equivalent time next year.

I dont think we need averages going back & the current averages are sent out at regular intervals. But does this now mean that there isn't any room for new information such as leagyue tables etc from the current season ?

No, I just plan to modify the front page with your latest information as you send it out each week. About 75% satisfactory, when compared to what a standalone website could be. :-/
