Haven't had enough snow for a snowman yet ::) You know what these forecasters are like, we've had a lovely day, first time the temperature has stayed above freezing for ages, what snow we had is melting fast.

Well having just sorted the car park and driveway to the school with a snow plough.. hope to open tomorrow!! Have you seen your forecast for tomorrow Q :o :o ?? Think a snowman of a great height is on the cards ;D ;D Its really strange.. my sister lives 2 miles away and after the last snowfall could barely move her 4x4 yet we had hardly a covering. I can see the moors (in the distance) and its obvious that there's been some good snow there. So what do the forecasters know?? perhaps we'll have a hurricane ;D

Who will get the next lot of snow?
Not Devon (Exmouth) judging by the superb webcam, as it's raining cats & dogs at the moment.
Big brother is watching!! ;D

It was our turn today, it started around 2pm and snowed continuously til around 6pm, even had a snowplough go past the front of my house, only a couple of inches though, I'll post some pics tomorrow, rain has now arrived and the snow is turning to slush, mighty glad I've still got the Paj ;D

Yippee!! the snows melting. :D
I should think that everyone will be glad to see the back of the white stuff, I know I will be, as I'm fed up of wearing my wellies to work.
Not once did I get the milk float stuck in the snow, but I needed a push to get the car moving from where I parked it in the car park at work today. :-[
It's also nice to see the daylight hours getting longer, as I don't like the dark. ::) ;)

And I thought that they were built to go anywhere...... ::) ;D
Only a brief heavy snow shower last night down here in Brighton, turned everything white for a few minutes, but virtually completely gone now...... ;)

Very strange that it's raining here at home, but 3 miles away where my son is playing it's white on the ground and snowing heavily!!
As I'm typing this it's now turned to heavy snow here.
Luckily for me I don't work on Fridays. ;D

I wouldn't mind some more snow just as a change.
It's been non-stop rain here now for a week. Garden's like a quagmire.

Looks like Guernsey will miss the next batch of snow. However Sunday's forecast already sounds 'intresting' :o with cyclonic winds. The police have also taken the unusual steps of already announcing that they will be closing the town seafront for three days next week in the mornings, due to the forcast and exceptionaly high tides. Better get my wellies out then. ::) www.channelonline.tv/channelonline_guernseynews/DisplayArticle.asp?ID=485225

Even we had heavy snow last night for a couple of hours and I thought the weather forecasters said that Oxfordshire wouldn't get any!! ???
Only a light sprinkling at the moment, though.
Friends of ours were supposed to fly from Gatwick to Benidorm at 7am today but I see that the airport is closed until tomorrow, so they must be chuffed about the snow. :P

Well - up in the frozen North East its still snowing heavily and we have everything covered in a foot or so of the white stuff - not conducive to my collecting my BB table from Reading!! Can't wait to get it set up and playing - ho hum.
Cheers - stay warm, Brian.
