We only managed a draw last night Ian :( Me and Roo played like demented lumberjacks but were rescued from disaster by Jel winning the third singles and Leigh (5k break) and PJ winning the doubles :D :D All to do next week :o :o

:'( Just looked at the draw...........wonder who I'll get in the plate ::) Well, I bet you never thought you'd get Q. And no-one could have predicted that it would end with a tie. Well done in seeing him off in the single-break replay. 'Twas good to meet the Northants Nutters and put faces to names. You can all play a bit as well. Unlucky Jase, Milko was there for the taking.

He certainly was. One bad shot that cost me although to be fair Keith did lose a 3/4k break as well during the game. ???

Hard luck Jason, yes I did struggle on that table 2, I think I had a touch of the jitters as I don't usually leave my one up short, that's why I went to the bar for my first beer.
Better luck next time.
Keith :)

So I take it we have missed out on entering the Berks open then? :( You may still be alright to enter. Forms were being given out for Berks at the Bucks although the close date was a day earlier. They've obviously extended it and there is a flurry of late entries. Dave Alder (the organiser) has pledged to accept names by e-mail and take the money on the day. Give your names to KT and he'll e-mail them on for you. I'm still deliberating as I don't want to see it cancelled through insufficient entries like it was a couple of years ago.
