Dave Ingram has added the Horsham Masters to his glittering haul of trophies for this year. Adam Bateup was a very worthy Runner-up.
Micky Fairs (No.1 seed) was a surprise "no show", along with the 6th and 10th seeds, Mark Webber and Dave Lennon.
Dave, the (lucky) 13th seed, had a tough path to the final, having to overcome the perennial Steve King, Singles Champ Dick Cable and last year's 'Master' Paul Jobbins.
Top seed left in, Peter Gibbs, was surprisingly overcome by Steve Eely, who then lost to Adam in a close match. Adam had earlier come back from 6k down to Dave Howlett.
Report with scores to follow.

Congratulations to Dave for a well won competition and well done Adam as a worthy finalist. Pity I couldn't stay to see all the games and must add my thanks to Ian for staying all day and running this event.
I realise that some of the players couldn't come for genuine reasons but some of them didn't even let us know they were not coming and that is disrespectful to both the other players that came and those that could have played, also to the organisers who put in all the hard work and give of their time and effort to stage this event both on the day and before hand.....shame on you :-[

Well done Adam and Dave
Adam has become a formidable player recently but a seems a decent guy to boot.
Dave-spoken to you many a time online but this season was the first time we met. You looked a very handy player even though you admitted yourself you were rusty.
Perhaps the balance of power might start to shift this next year.........??????
