tommo's been busy........ The Horsham Committee said yes, they wouldn't mind having a standalone website, so here it is: www.horshambarbilliards.co.uk/Already contains what I've pulled across from the Mid-Sussex site, but loads of scope now for additions - I reckon it's no more than about 10% complete. I now intend to remove the superflous Horsham pages on mid-sussexbbl.co.uk and replace them with some history of the old Crawley League - if I can get it ! In turn, Horsham now has a page which we will devote to Billingshurst. Any suggestions for input will receive sympathetic consideration, in the meantime I will just keep building it up throughout this year.....

80% complete now, having spent the whole of the last two days on it. ;)
Some gaps in the 'News' over the last few seasons need plugging - have enlisted the help of Bernie (Q) on this.
The other glaring omission is that I have absolutely no information on how Horsham's Cup Competitions are going - apart from details on Masters qualification.
If someone has an ongoing record on this, I would be most grateful to receive a copy. ;)

Okay, I've got as far as I can go with it now, and all the news I can find has been included.
If someone could update the thread (on here, ProBoards), as regards the later stages of the Cup Competitions (who has won through to Finals Night etc) we can then give the full picture.
[edit - Competition information has now been provided by Ian, so now included on the website]

My pleasure, Ian.
If you would like to add the website address to your profile so that people can access it via a 'little house' under your avatar, please feel free to do so. It is linked to Margo's at the moment.
Rgds, tommo

Margo has just found an old scrapbook of mine, so I now have plenty of material to add to the website for a good old nostalgic trip in the Diamond Jubilee year. ;D Here's a sample:

Don't panic Mr Mainwairing ! For the next day or so it may seem that the Horsham website has been replaced with the new Billingshurst website I have been creating.
This is because I have been taking full advantage of my free webspace afforded me by BT, and have been obliged to share it between the two sites. Not all updates can come across at once, web publishings being sporadic:
The file transfers will eventually settle down and you should be able to view BOTH websites as www.domains sometime next week. tommo

After a recent revamp, there are now: - separate tabs for Interleague Home/Away and One-Day;
- a link to a new file covering Interleague prior to 1994;
- write-ups on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Masters.
Just the back-catalogue of Averages to attend to now ! 8-)

Just the back-catalogue of Averages to attend to now ! 8-) tommo's been busy: Now added: 18 consecutive years' worth of Averages 1976-1993 (access via Hall of Fame page). Qualification: min 10 games played and an average of 3000+. Some interesting names crop up. Of course, this is all "ancient history" gleaned from my own archives - and would need another 17 years' worth to get it up to date. ::) But it's a start........ If anyone has kept copies of the programmes from any of the last 17 years' Finals nights I would be pleased to borrow them and do the extra work needed to complete the project.

Brilliant work Tommo, thanks :D
I have the Info from 2003-4 up to date, with unfortunately only the Averages List for 2005-6 and think that was because I couldn't attend Finals Night that year.
Interesting entry at #22 in 2003-4 season Clive Thompson, Handcross SC, Played 18, Won 17, average 4290. 8-)
Any ideas how to get them to you ? Sparky

Thanks Graham, that would be wonderful.
Hopefully you're still going to come and play in the Limes Triples on Saturday 17th (11.30 for 12 noon start) and could lend me them then.
I believe IanG is also coming and plans to contact you about sharing transport.
Regards, Clive
PS Yes, I had a year off from Redhill that year when Alan Downs asked me to join the new team he was setting up. Darrell beat me to the best performance, though, he won one game more than me. ;)

Five years' worth of Final Aves have just turned up, which will take things up to season 1997/98. So with Sparky now able to provide me with 2003/04 onwards, the "missing years" will just be the following:
1998/99 1999/2000 2000/01 2001/02 2002/03.
"Seventeen to find" is now reduced to five. Very encouraging. Perhaps we can mention this as a "mission statement" on the welcoming letter to teams for our 2010/11 (Jubilee) season.
