Heres a list of qualifiers for the 2010 Sussex Masters to be played at Roffey on 12th June 2010. The top 24 are eligible to play. Could you please confirm that you are are either available or unavailable to play asap. Please keep watching this thread as a few places may change.
The points for Sussex Mixed Doubles are still to be added for those still in the competition. This will make a slight change to some of the top positions and may also put Doug Mahy into the top 24.

The masters list is almost complete with the mixed doubles points added. The only possible change now is if Lorraine & Jim win the final Lorraine would move up the list above Terry Molloy
Dont forget to confirm if you can make it.

I'm afraid we've just had a member of staff phone in sick, and as is always the way, muggins is going to have to cover since there is nobody else about, which means I'm not going to make it today after all that.
I am sending a message via Dave to that effect since im not sure i have jeans number!
Very sorry all

The Masters went off okay with a full lineup, Bill and Tony taking the last two places.
Stayed for the first set of games, and can report that Jim Greensted narrowly missed out on a 20k-club Sussex shirt, with a table playout of 19,940 - but failing to pot the last 100 ! So both 'well played' and 'unlucky' to him...........

Congratulations to Nigel Senior who won the Sussex Masters at the Roffey Club today, beating defending champion Richard Wooton in an enthralling final....... Richard playing the table out (apart from the last ball) for 17,390, only for Nigel to return the compliment with 18,060 on his break game. 8-) Amazingly, it was Nigel's first win in this competition.... :o :o Chris Tupper beat Barry Holt in another close game in the Plate Final..... while Jim Greensted's break (see below) was the highest of the day.... ;) The Masters went off okay with a full lineup, Bill and Tony taking the last two places. Many thanks to the Roffey Club for their hospitality, Jean & Alan for all their hard work on "the desk" and Sparky and his team of helpers (Nigel, SirKT, Lady H and Colleen :-*) who set up the tables. All the scores and results are now on the Sussex Website...... www.sussexbarbilliards.com..... thanks to Jean for getting the scores to me so quickly. 8-)

Many thanks to the Roffey Club for their hospitality, Jean & Alan for all their hard work on "the desk" and Sparky and his team of helpers (Nigel, SirKT, Lady H and Colleen :-*) who set up the tables. Thank you Warrior but would decline such headline billing ;) especially as you have left yourself off the list, when you and Colleen came in early Saturday as well..... so thank you Dave and Colleen. I would add my thanks to the above list of people, and would especially pick out 'Pippa' at the Roffey Club who opened up early just to help us.
