Schooner 5 Hurst club 2
Unfortunately Ian Giffen had to drop out due to his mother being taken into hospital, but rather than cancel it we went ahead, agreeing to a substitution.
Dave Anscombe * 3310 710 Bob Hall
Dave started with 2k lost another 1.5k. Bob got break back only to miss it, Dave held his lead with Bob chasing all around back trying to get break back 1-0 (4-2)
TJ 1710 1540 Chris Kirkham * Chris off at 600, both players then spent whole game at top end of table without getting break back. TJ edged into lead as bar approached only for Chris to miss ball behind 30 hole with winning line in sight. Chris cleared balls after bar and had first shot at 100, unluckly rimmed, TJ made sure 2-0 (6-2)
Rick C 4410 1590 Darrell Skinner *
Darrell off at 800, Rick break back first 3k lead and held that throughout. 3-0 (6-2)
Terry Molloy * 7760 2190 Steve King Terry started with 4k, Steve got them back but off at just over 1k, Terry under extreme barracking added another 3k. 4-0 (7-2)
Bill Kerr 4740 1780 Colleen Park *
Colleen off at 700, Bill got thrm back and made sure 5-0 (8-2)
A very entertaining evening with Hurst and must say any run off the balls was on our side, hope Ians Mum okay, now looking forward to playing Three Horseshoes.

Thanks for all the good wishes. That must be a relief. Always good to hear when those closest to you are given the all clear. Life is precious.

Swan A trail the Old House at Home 3-2 after first leg, believe Swan A won games 1 and 3.
Please see amended dates for round completiions after I realised schedule a bit tight when we have until County Team Championships to complete. Saying that please do not leave to last minute as others will have holidays etc kick in.

Nice try Dave - to make our game seem half decent, ;) but you've given us both an extra 1k. Scores should read 3290 played 3180 :)

I took the scores off the scoreboard and it looked like "4's" rather than "3's" to me....... maybe it was just wishful thinking, although it felt like a lot more! ::) ;D
