Loci 6-2 Henty Men
D Hampton 6960--3930 S Beach E Hampton 3930--2300 D Dynes P Clifford 2460--3330 S Mills D Simmonds 4180--3950 P Western DH & PC 8760--1120 SM & PW DS & EH 3410--5750 SB & JD
Game 1. Mr H broke down early with his first visit as did i, no mistake in his second visit though 6k+ break then i polished it off with nearly 4k (2 visits each).
Game 2. Captain chaos bit off more than he could chew against little Hampton (loci's best player even without his Weetabix) must've thought he was at the Henty.
Game 3. Simon didn't look at all comfortable on the table but managed a win none the less against an unlucky Paul (first time I've seen him without a Chelsea top on) ;)
Game 4. Best game of the evening could've gone either way, Pete unlucky with a ferret which was teetering on the edge.
Game 5. Pete came off early & Mr H rattled in a sizable break to seal that one.
Game 6. Eric (with about 8 pints inside him) kicked off well this time with a flowing break of over 2k, a bit of tooing & froing after that, i managed to get 1.7k on the board until John (still seething after being dropped) took the game by the scruff of the neck with a quality 4k+ break.
An excellent evening with plenty of banter ;D

Henty Boys 6 - 2 LA Dolphins
A good result for The Boys especially as the Dolphins raced in to a 2 - 0 lead thanks to The Coach and The Comet. The Boys tried to thwart and confuse the Coach by starting the game with 8 white balls but he was having none of it and as usual only needed the obvious 2 for most of his shots. The Coach retained his longstanding 100% singles record against The Boys. Not sure what it is but whichever of The Boys face him they seem to be overawed by his presence.
Badger showed his best form for some time with a 5000 + break in his singles against the luckless Denee Denee. He also hit another high score in his doubles game when he partnered Big Boy to beat the Dolphin Dollies pairing.
An improving Dan Swain played a steady game to beat the Dolphins Captain in his singles and to clinch the match played another good game in the doubles when he and his skipper Russell Oakes to beat the Coach and his sidekick in the doubles.
As usual when these two teams meet , a lot of banter with the game played in the right competitive spirit.
The Dolphins quickly need to find some form otherwise The Coach may defect to The Boys.
