Right it's time to get the ball rolling on this forthcoming winter league, I am introducing the monthly Colemanator Curry Award this genuine award will be given each month to the player who's BB skills are worthy of this accolade, it will include, high breaks, big come backs, newcomer victories etc etc, this will culminate to an end of season winner where hopefully there will be a prize. As moderator of the Northants board and also the person responsible for scores and press reports i will have first hand knowledge of any outstanding feats of BB skill throughout the season, there will be no running score there will just be an announced winner at the end of each month with an explanation of the reason, the winner will be given a level of acheivement, this level will start at Korma and end at Phall, so if you do fairly well you might be givan a Madras, not so good may be a Passanda, but you get the picture. This is a genuine award for playing skills. I will add more later.

Tommo, I don't do Kormas, they are for girls. BTW enjoy yours tonight ;D I'd like to be able to say that "tonight's Korma went down very well thank you" but I had the Tikka Masala instead. ;D ;D ;D

Surely the prize must be a curry on the Colemanator ;D
I can remember many, many years ago (Iang will verify this) he, I and a couple of mates used to go down the local for a couple or 3 pints then on to the the curry house on average 5 nights a week we got so used to curry that we would be eating Phalls every time. (we then had a very slow drive home avoiding as many potholes as possible) ;D

Guys, this is an award for Northants players during the winter campaign, i'm trying to add a bit of spice :D to our section for achievements, no doubt HVP will run some sort of kipling award for other varietys of the game. i will try to enlist the help and sponsorship of the Bonophool Balti Hut on the high street Thrapston which is run and owned by Afruj Ali, watch this space. :D

like the sound of this. maybe the worst shot of the month could get something really bland like scampi . ;) ;D Jel, it's a player of the month thing ::) you have to have had a good month to win it, i was going to call it the Northants forum player of the month award, but that sounded too straightlaced. At the expense of repeating myself it is a genuine award. I can't decide if i'll do one for div 1 and div 2 yet, i believe that we've got 11 teams so i would guess that it will be a 6/5 split.

But the last two make me feel sick. :-X you must have a dodgy take away near you then Tommo ::), the idea is the level of heat, play well and you get the phall, that means you're on red hot form :D

I think perhaps this thread should be re-named..... No, No, this is a genuine achievement accolade, not to be confused with the Kipling one, i am seriously thinking of changing the name to the forum award if people are not going to take this seriously >:( :D

Or you could always rename it The " The Spot On Kebab and Chips Award " ::)
