Hi, over here in New Zealand and a woodworking school I attend has been comissioned to make some (4) bar billiards tables. Everything but the timers is sorted - we have an electronic coin mechanism, but was wondered if anyone has plans for a diy electronic timer. We have one very old clockwork timer but this was expensive and we would like to keep the cost down to the customer.
thanks Pat

Welcome to our Forum, Pat. Good to have a New Zealand member to correspond with. Sorry for the delay in answering your techical question about an electonic timer. Our lord and master (Sav) is renowned for once owning a set of championship tables with strange two-button electronic timing mechanisms which were ultra reliable - so we are waiting for him to provide the wisdom ! Meanwhile, what can you tell us about these people who operate in the North Island ? www.barbilliards.co.nz/

Hi,
Only just spotted this,
Yes I designed some a timer.
Gary Isles designed a cheaper one after.
I still have the circuit diagram somewhere if interested.
