Southwater SC 1, Mill House 4 (played at the Dun Horse)
Cracking first game, Tom really went for me but I came back to win by 5k - 4k. Matt had a 'mare in the second game, Nick not at his best just able to account for the left-hand roll slightly better. Jim was merciless against Gordon in game three, bringing home the bacon with a fine score of 7920. Margo BP'd in a tight game with Chris Purkiss which gave Southwater a consolationary frame. Then 'BabyGuinness' fresh back from her misbehaviours in Jersey iced the cake against Jeff Raine.
Excellent selection of sandwiches provided by the venue, cheese & pickle; tuna etc, and not a single eggy one in sight! :P

Mystery explained as to Mama Hall's new psyche............ 8-) My own mum can drink anyone under the table. Margo took her on once and they polished off a bottle of vodka. My mum was still standing, and sober as a judge (turns 90 next year). Margo on the other hand was violently sick on the way home, against the Cherry Tree pub sign. :o :o oi it wasnt vodka it was brandy makes you wonder who can hold their liquor [Edited for spelling mistake]

Crawley Club 2 Plough B 3
For the second week running Plough triumph over the more fancied Crawley club.
Didn`t get a copy of scores but if I remember it right the 1st four games all went against the break and only Chris Kirkham holding his end up by beating Steve King in the decider. Pete Edwards was the pick of the plough team with a solid 5 k break and Pete Fish also rapping up a totaol of over 8k, Gerry Edwards was the other winning player for the Plough!

Spud eventually took the decider with a last minute 1K against Lin Lennon.

Apologies for delay in updating. Laptop hasnt been very keen to work this week.
Holbrook managed a great win (3-2) over the league champions Roffey with notable wins for Sam, Vic and Steve. Pete Gibbs had a tremendous score for Roffey whilst in frame 2, Dick and Brett were seperated by just a few points.
Holbrook 3-2 Roffey
