Good luck to the Zeds @ the Windmill, while I play in the Watney Mann Final! Remember to HIT the break as it is a bit slow! ;) ;) Thanks for the tip, Jim! Unfortunately we're a player short tonight, unless I can get Mr Mike to play........

tommo are u a player short tonight At the moment, yes......... Nick would rather not play tonight (personal reasons). Mr Bob Hall is working, so Margo would step in. Mr Mike would probably do it at short notice but I can't phone him till he gets in from work. So it's all a bit up in the air at the moment.

Thanks Bob, I will try and get Mr Mike anyway as it's reasonably close to where he lives, so we'll either have 4 or 5 players. Margo will submit 4 players for the draw, leaving a blank, then if you make it in time for the last game, you play.

Crawley Club 2 Plough B 3
Another win for the plough @ the Crawley club scores as follows
D Evans 5190 - Pete Edwards 870 Pete pegged his opener and failed to retrieve the break, a 4k break was good enough from Mr Evans
Steve King 410 - Foxy 12490 I opened with 10450 then got a kick on the one up otherwise I think I could have gone straight thro to the end ;D ::)
D. Jessup 1550 - Jenny Edwards 1480 Very close entounter decided on the last ball, Jenny had 1st dibs but overhit it spinning out!
Peter Fish 2560 - ALan Downs 7060 Solid 4k start from Alan followed by another 2.5k Pete never got going til too late So at 2-2 it came down to this leg!
J Gaffney 2050 - Gerry Edwards 4290 Gerry with a steady 2k put some pressure on his opponent and Gerry was 1st to get the balls back to make the match safe for The Plough ;D

Cheecky bunch of cheaters (!) ;D Giving each other hints and tips...what will the world come to next! lol I didnt play for Southwater last night due to a better offer coming up at the last minute but will find out the score and post results. As we were at roffey, im guessing at ... 4-1 (but I wont say who to!)

Just to explain for Matt, the last thing the SilverFox (who plays for the Plough B) would have wanted to do was give their main rivals such a valuable tip: he posted it on the Billingshurst board for his Wednesday crew, but I picked up on it as we happened to be out there on Tuesday! ;D I didnt play for Southwater last night due to a better offer coming up at the last minute Hope she was worth it! ;) ;)
