No table in The Romany. Had a couple of pints of Brainstorm bitter 4.3%. Made by Hopping Mad brewery. Never heard of them before but a very pleasant tasting beer IMHO

Thanks Gerry, Margo and I had better luck with our investigations today, but at least yours wasn't all in vain. ;)

;D Great write up on your Billiards match Richard. "Jiffs Corner" (as you put it) is one of my favorite break building area's on that table, but only because i find the break next to impossible! Good choice dining at the church restaurant also! 8-)

Although it still has a good skittles table and Pool, no sign of a BB table at the White Swan, Holcot this weekend (or the last time I was in there over a year ago). There is a nice team photo in the games room featuring several blokes proudly holding their BB trophies. Very 1984 fashion/haircuts. The new licensee is the old licensee following a few years of poor management. Seems interested in getting a skittles team back up and running, but no mention of BB.

The 10 o'clock pub is no more, so no 4 pin there. Just started working on a building site near Aynho, so will pop into the great Western arms when I get chance

A check of Northants website reveals a new league venue at: STIRRUP CUP, WOODLAND AVENUE, BARTON SEAGRAVE, KETTERING NN15 6QR I wouldn’t be too hasty in adding this - in all likelihood we will be moving on by the end of April. Thanks for looking at our site though! Lorin

Presumably took the Red Lion Cranford table ? Yes - moved from there last year. Indeed we were only there for a year. Who knows what’s next. Visited a venue on Thursday which is a possible, we’ll see.
