Oh yes, Q, I'd heard you'd joined the Lewes league, and also the Littlehampton - so now you're out playing bar billiards four nights a week. No I haven't joined Littlehampton, haven't thought of that one ;D but I am now registered for: Lewes - Monday Horsham - Tuesday Mid Sussex AND Brighton - Wednesday Worthing - Thursday (possibly) of course we have Interleague every 3rd or 4th Sunday, so I'm just looking for Friday and Sat now ;D ;D ;D Oh I wont see you on the 28th, it's my birthday so I'm having a day off from Bar billiards.

I've come home for a while and my fence has blown down again :-[ My fence has been down for a month. Next door neighbour (a Del-boy type) built it for me but it only lasted ten years because he sunk wooden posts into concrete and the wood rotted at the base. Bodged it last year with the help of my son-in-law but we only repaired half of it - which weakened the rest of it ! So I'm going for concrete posts this time, but the firm doing it are waiting for the weather to improve before starting on it.

I'll be concreting post anchors in when i get around to replacing the thing, don't have to worry about the other side of the garden if that one blows down as i'm sure that the old lady that lives there will get her son-in-law round to repair/renew it, in fact it's looking dodgy as i speak. ;D ;)

When you say it's looking dodgy Ian I take it you mean the fence and not my Ma-in-law ::)
PS if the fence does fall down I'll replace with an electrified one to keep sheep and things out :-X

I've just checked my greenhouse, 2 panes gone at the last count, back fence (replaced 3 yrs ago) is sitting at 45 degrees, side (6ft high, brick) wall is swaying about 3 inches at the top and the guinea pig shelter just took off...

Its a shelter to protect their hutches, it lifted 2ft off the ground while I was looking at it... I grabbed it :o hled it down and have now collapsed it to the 'winter' mode so it should be OK ::)
Yes they are in it, but there's only 5 of them anyway, they should be alright.

Well I've got home to find that my fence which I'd pulled round at an angle to balance against itself for stability has now flipped right over and is lying in the middle of next door neighbour's garden. :-[ :-[ Margo says good -at least it's not landed on my Albretia. Will have to retrieve it -but not yet ! as I want my dinner first. ;D

This albretia wotsit is it a skin complaint or one of your pets ::) Alright, alright, clever clogs, suddenly we're all gardening experts, are we ? ;D What I should have said was Aubretia deltoidea. I've a good mind to post a quiz now on garden plants and their Latin names - but on second thoughts, maybe not ! ;D
