Mill House 2 Roffey Y 3
Mill House tasted defeat for the first time this season!
BabyG 1720, Lee Cable 4000 - nice, steady game from Lee
Nick Hayes 4060, John Miller 940 - thought with a name like Miller, John would feel at home here, But several 'I don't believe it's were uttered, earning him the name of Victor Meldrew
Boball BP, Peter Gibbs 3060 - Pete took a while to get going, Robbie not able to take advantage, but then he caught right up as the bar went, only to leave Peter to mop up with a sequence of 50 shots.
tommo 6380, Dick Cable 1520 - tommo had to knuckle down as Dick was wielding 'Ruby's cue', recognisable from when we both played at the White Hart 40 years ago! 2-2 and set up nicely for a decider.
Jim Broderick BP, Rick Langridge 4930 - Rick played a good, solid game throughout with some bold shots at the right time.
Table not as good as it has been recently, a bit slow, but I had minimal time to set it up as the opponents arrived quite early as I was trying to make the break easier. Ho hum.
Still it was a good evening, with plenty of banter and over the season between our two teams honours are even. 8-)

Stout House -v- Holbrook Club
John Tidy 1970 - 1330 S.Hopkins Scrappy first up game, John was very lucky to win this one as 1k break was pegged by Steve. 1-0
Glyn Owen 8750 - 1120 S.Jones The score says it all, Glyns 6.5k break was pretty to watch, he's back in form! 2-0
Noggs Newman 2850 - 840 B.Kennedy A patient game by Keith at the top end was rewarded with the break back 37secs before the bar. 3-0
Twiggy 5150 - 1980 M.Murray Muzza went of well with 1.5k. Twiggy got the balls back mid game a compiled some table time. 4-0
Gordon Carver 760 - 3240 N.Evans All that needs to be said is Gordon pegged a 4k break that would have sealed a whitewash. 4-1
Stout House 4 - Holbrook Club 1

No Bobble wobble tonight then ;) Looks like the wobble was so big it took the Black peg out :o ;D To be fair to Boball, he was subjected to relentless sledging throughout his game. They tried it too with tommo - but, water off a duck's back! ;D ;D
