This is the one you delivered on the way to your last Isle of Man trip, is it not, Sav ? How about buying it back off him, picnic table offered in part exchange? ;) ;D

Would like AEBBA buy this, and not let it slip into private hands.

What a sensible idea from the Colemanator !
Suggest AEBBA authorise Sav to communicate privately with the vendor and offer exactly the price he paid Sav for it (£650). Caller collects, AEBBA to pay Sav's expenses.
Vendor should realise he will not get many other bids for it bearing in mind the remote locality.

I've emailed the seller to find out which table it is as I did not keep records of what went where. If it's round legged I would not recommend it due to the different, more fragile, thread and the need to keep parts interchangeable
It is also not likely to be economical to drive nearly 1000 miles round trip with an overnight stay to collect it.

They claim it as being 'post war' in the description, so must be thrupenny bit legs. ;)
Didn't you meet the guy half-way, in Lancs, when you sold him it, Sav, I seem to recall?
AEBBA should have enough in the kitty to ensure you were not out-of-pocket over the venture. :-/

Heard back from the seller and it's octagonal legs which are preferable to round with the lumpier thread in my view.
I don't remember it being mahogany as per the desription and it looks light oak
Decent table when I sold it and cushions and slate were OK, a long long drive though!!
