My table is a Jelks and my question
Is it possible to set the coin mech to free play and if so how ? Apologies if this has been asked many times before

Hi Dave, I will try to describe in layman's terms. The following link shows a timer both from the front and sideways on: www.mercuryleisure.co.uk/barbilliards#timerLook at the sideways on view (the picture keeps flashing from one to the other) and study the small assembly nearest to the handle (the other side of the plate): There is a double prong which moves upwards when a coin is inserted, to allow the handle to be pulled to its full extent. By lifting this double prong permanently you get freeplay. All you need to do is put something about the size of a biro top underneath the prongs! Good luck! tommo

Or turn the prong on the top of the front of the bar connected to the pulling handle upside down by taking off the two thumscrews with springs that hold the sprung prong in place.

Big thanks to Tommo and Sav for their responses both of which were most helpful and worked just fine. The table is now set to free play which saves me scratching around for £ coins
