Stout House Z 1 Three Bees 4
A shocker for the league leaders as the the Three Bees make honey out of the Zeds
Richard Plaw 3410 Ron Childs 5300 Solid game from Ron Richard had his chances but left the one up short ::)
Foxy 400 Lin Lennon 3640 Lin with a steady start left the balls awkward, I had the break but took out the left peg, then on a 5k break took out the right peg, just one of those nights ::)
Junkie Miller 9390 - Mike Lennon 1410 I suppose some normality retored in this leg Jonny took his chance early and Mike had no reply
Rick Landridge 1570 - John Tudhope 2760 A frustrating game for both but John held his scores when it mattered
Andy Finn 3540 - Steve Eely 4320 Nip n Tuk game first andy had the chance then Steve, but Steve was on the table when it counted
well done to the 3 bees a first 4-1 home defeat for the Zeds ::)

Alfold Social Club 2 Dun Horse 3
Dave Slater 960 Stuart Hope 2790 Trevor Goacher 1550 Colin Bolton 2130 Garry Fishburn 4420 Grant Hope 2270 Robin Burgess 2400 Dave Simmons 6840 Mal Greening 4040 Scott Hope 1570
First Game was a bit scrappy, Pops made it look hard work and Dave just didn’t get going.
Second game was a ‘Cat & Mouse’ affair! Neither Colin or Scubafrog really settled. Colin fortunate to do just enough just before the bar dropped.
Grant took three visits to suss out the pace in the third game by which time Garry was already 2.5k ahead which proved too much to catch.
Dave racked a couple of thousand to open the fourth. Robin got straight on and was looking comfortable until he broke down just over 1k. The play seemed to go Dave’s way from there with Robin struggling to get a break going.
Scott not looking comfortable in the last game, letting The Major in early for 2k. That proved enough of a lead to take the game.
A sociable evening as always with the Alfold lads with plenty of chat & banter. Good food from ‘Chef for the Night’ Dave. :P

All 5 games at late stages could have gone to either team.... Roffey got 3 tho!
Peter.F 4530 - 1800 John.T Tidy pegged a 1.5k break late giving Pete the break back and game.
Gibbo BP - Tony.C 3180 Gibbo kept clawing back and needed the 200 to tie the game....
Dick 3260 - Gordon 2970 Dick needed the 100 to win... Missed. Gordon needed the 200 to win by 10 points... Missed. Dick got the 100 on the 2nd attempt.
Twiggy 2550 - Skippy 3280 Twiggy couldnt get the break back until too late & the two small 1k+ breaks I had were just enough.
Micky 6510 - Pete.H 1050 Dont let the score fool you! Pete pegged two 1k+ breaks when Mick was struggling, the last pegging gave Mick the break back & match.
Roffey 3 - 2 Stout House 'A'
Great night @ the Roffey, lots of banter, some good shots, some flukes & nice sarnies!

Well deserved victory to the Dun Horse, the home team had their chances and could of got more from the game. Makes the Div 2 interesting tho.
