It's very good to see that we now have an excellent Inter Area Newsletter that is being published by our new Secretary (Tony Willis) to go with the AEBBA Newsletter that is also excellently done by Nigel Senior.
The superb first edition (4 pages) covers the Inter Area One Day tournaments and shows reports, stats and photo's of the day. 8-)
Well done Tony, great work that was done in very quick time.
If I was being a little picky, I would like to see the stat's put in wins first and then averages, as wins are more important than scores, that way I wouldn't be down the list in 17th position!! ::)

I always list (for no particular reason) stats by average score - it's only a list! 8-) I have sent the Newsletter via email to all Captains and secretaries (and a few others that I know about) If anyone else wishes to read it, I have now updated the website and included both a link to the newsletter and a report on the One-Day event. If anyone else wishes to go on my mailing list for bimonthly newsletters then please send me a PM. cheers Tony

I keep doing that ???...I think I know a Colin Bateman and that's why I keep doing it. I've changed my spreadsheet now so it shouldn't happen again...... Just the one mistake though - that must be a record! cheers Tony

There is an error on the front page of the Newsletter (as usual!) in that the photo of Oxford C includes Geoff Mace rather than Craig Mace. I have corrected the one on the website... ::)

A couple of errors (when isn't there? ;)) in the Newsletter; 1. Number of wins in the C team shield tables is incorrect but importantly the point totals are. This has been corrected on the website. 2. The result of the Reading C v. Witney B game was 5-5 and Reading won on aggregate. This was correct on the website but a cell shift in the result database caused it to display a 6-4 win to Reading in the Newletter and I didn't notice - sorry!
Bleedin' spreadsheets - you take your eyes off them for a second and the cells leap all over the place...
Thanks to Milko for being so thorough ;D ;D
