I'm stuck at home tonight, just heard The Dun Horse have taken a 4-1 win at The Stout House A. Hopefully Skippy will provide details.

Blue Ship 1 Stout House Z 4
Steve Holden 2960 Denise Wills 3860
Mick Johnson 2380 - Richard Plaw 4350
Colin Cathie 5590 - Junkie Miller 4920
Ding Johnson 4840 - Vernon Sparkes 5190
Alan Maybee 0 - Foxy 19980
Should have been 3-2 but Ding had Vern beaten only to come off the table with 1 minute to go Vern took advantage! Aplogies to Alan who didn`t get a go although I did leave two balls up from my last shot! ::)
Junkie continues to be Stout Houses odd one out ;D
A great evening @ The Blue Ship made to feel very welcome by Colin and his team, some nice warm sausage rolls and sarnies to feed the troops too

Stout House A 1 -4 Dun Horse
Pete 3500 - 5040 Stuart Hope Both played very well, Stuart edged it with 2 bigger breaks than Pete.
Tidy 3560 - 4240 Scott Hope This followed a similar pattern to game 1.
Adam BP - 2750 Grant Hope Grant played steady and deserved the 'Dubya', my poor form continues.
Sam 1160 - 1470 Colin Could have gone either way but Colin played the top end slightly better at the death.
Tony 2290 - BP Keith Tony was ahead all the way.
The Horse deserved the win and are right to be knocking on the door of a spot in Div.1

Limeburners 5 Alfold SC 0 :o :-[ :'(
B Goodchild 2430 R Burgess 1820
A slow start for both players, but Rob was edging it and looked fairly comfortable. Brian then stepped in with a decent 1.5K as the bar dropped leaving Rob too much to do with the balls that were left.
C Sawyer 1970 D Slater 690
Another slow start with both players loading the table. However, Chip used his experience and knowledge of the table to secure the win.
B Hammond 3690 T Goacher 950
Trevor missed from the break allowing Bill on to hit 1K, followed by another. Though Trevor did have the opportunity to do something, he was just not in the zone. (bleeding frustrated)
M Davies 3550 M Greening 2970
The Major started well with 1K and with Mark not putting points on the board from his first visit the Major added another. Mark then hit back with his own 1K, but time was ebbing away. A few moments of scrappy play from both players, before Mark hit a match wining 2K as the bar and balls dropped.
D Dewdney 7400 G Fishburn 100
Gaz started well scoring 1K before pegging out. Dick stepped up to hit 4K followed by 3K. Gaz did not get going, Dick was clearly on top of his game a throughly deserved the victory.
Not a lot of banter, but plenty of friendly chat. Good food and beer, had a go at the quiz, though not too sure I was that helpful.
Good luck to Chip this weekend, celebrating 30 years at the Limeburners, Cheers.

Interesting set of results this week.........................
And a bad 'un for the Alfold SC and the Stout A who previously led Div 2.
If Three Bees got the expected 5-0 against the Springboks, they will share the lead now with Dun Horse, with Limeburners Cricketers a point behind but with a game in hand.
Still all to play for though.
Congrats to Silver Fox, who takes over both the Highest Score and Highest Break. Anyone wishing to deny him will have to score 20k, a tall order !
