Three Bees 3 Dun Horse 2
Mike Lennon 2040 Scott Hope 2600 Lin Lennon 3460 Colin Bolton 1140 Nigel Tomsett 1300 Stuart Hope 2900 Steve Eely 5070 Grant Hope 1180 Ron Child 3200 Dave Simmons 2670
First game close and scrappy, Scott doing just enough .
Colin was doing quite well.....until Lin got the break back!
Stuart broke with 2k, that proved enough.
Steve knows his home top, Grant didn’t really get going.
Close deciding game, Dave got the break back as the bar dropped. ::)
Good night at the Windmill with plenty of decent chat. Close result just tipped in the Home team’s favour as they pull another point ahead of The Dun. :-/

Roffey 2 Stout House Z 3
Junky up first to take on Fairsy, Johnny didn`t make enough and Mick got into his stride coming off at around 7k, no time for Junkie to catch up 8750 -200 1-0
Vern again not getting a great start and Twiggy finding the top end tricky but is was Vern who reclaimed the break and put enough on the score board 1650- 4800 1-1
Andy Finn off to a better start than his prior team mates and rarely looked like losing this one, Dick suffering at the top end too 1670 - 5950 1-2
Richard up next but soon off, Glyn not really finding the holes he wanted and Richard was on the table when it mattered to take the forth game and secure the win for the Zeds 1510 - 2480 1-3
Foxy making 1950 from the break and Pete getting the break back at his first visit ::) made a nice 6k to seal it for the home side 7720 - 1950 2-3
Loads of banter between these two sides all good humor great night! ;D ;D

Second game played first. Gaz away with a 1k break, with Steve not putting points on board. A 2k from Gaz followed and though Steve worked hard to get the break back it just did not fall for him.
First game played second. Dave missed the split letting Simon in to put some points on the board, Dave continued to struggle whilst Simon plodded on. Dave eventually hit some form and out a good break together only to find the white peg :(. Simon added more valuable points to level the score.
Third game. Trevor started brightly but then left the balls just past the 50, Colin did not capatilise and Trevor kept nudging ahead. Table got clogged with balls and though Colin tried hard to get the break back, nothing was going his way with Trevor holding on for the victory.
Fourth Game. Rob's first visit did not come to much and Ding won the break back to put decent points on the board, which she followed with 1.5k o her next visit. Rob was just not getting the rub of the green and Ding rubbed salt into the wounds with another 1K. Rob did finish with a 1k playing the table out, but too little too late. :(
Final Game saw Dave stepping into the Major's shoes, who is on holiday again! 8-). Dave was a surprise package, starting off fairly well, however, Mick had his playing head on and hit 4k. Bits and pieces followed, but Dave play some cracking shots to give himself a respectable score.
Cheers to the lads and lasses of the Blue Ship, great night, splattering of humor and good conversation, followed up by decent grub.
