Stout House A 2-3 Three Bees
Pete 4830 - 1900 Mike A couple of 2k breaks for Pete saw him home. Gordon 620 - 4380 John Some good table time by John was overshadowed by Gordons 4k+ winning peg out. Tony 3500 - 5210 Steve A really good game that could have gone either way, Steve was still rolling when the bar went. Tidy 3560 - 4400 Ron Another nip & tuck game that could have gone either way. Adam 6040 - 1430 Lin This was closer than it suggests.
Thanks to the Bees for helping make this a fun, enjoyable evening for all. We hope these points get you the title!

Roffey Club 5 Alfold SC 0 ::)
In the utter embarrassment I overlooked getting the scores or making a report. I do remember that Twiggy was the only one who put a decent break together.
Safe to say the result is a little flattering and could of easily been 3 -2 either way.
Credit to the Roffey lads for securing maximum points.
Great banter as ever, and some decent grub. Thank you.
Well done to the 'Z's for recapturing their title and also to whoever won Div 2

Southwater SC 4 Dun Horse 1
Keith Newman 3790 Stuart Hope 2260 Mel Blake 3320 Grant Hope 1790 Tony Franks 6150 Scott Hope 2520 Ray Manser 370 Dave Simmons 6110 Tony Temple 1970 Colin Bolton 1160
An interesting occurance in the first game, Noggsy was on a break and having potted the break shot three times played the one-up. He obviously thought he had hit it too hard and turned around to walk away from the table. The red ball, however, stopped on the lip of the pocket. Having realised this, he turned around and took the next ball out of the tray to play his next shot. Before he managed to place it on the D, the red ball dropped into the 50 hole so the resulting call was ‘break down 4 times – foul shot’. Of course, if he had been quicker and played his next shot, he could have kept going irrespective of whether the red ball dropped before the white reached it. Never seen that before….
A good night with plenty of chat and a large peg tally in the last game.
