I heard on the grapevine KT won the Berks Open beating Steven Sheard in the final.
Well done KT, that is 3 in a row now – has this been done before? (one for Peter to look up)
KT beat arch rival milko in round 3 and milko set a 12k target despite an early miss. KT chased down the target and won by about 1k. Not big scores from these two, but I was well impressed as I could barely pot a ball on that same table and though it was very tough.
Milko junior made his second national final. Alan Chaloner and our very own Peter Farrelly made the semis. Q-Finalists were R.Wooton, D.France, C.Saville & K.Lewendon
Paul Sainsbury beat Ian Lelliott to win the plate.
See some of you next week for the county champs

Thanks to the organisers, they done a good job (even though times were running late). Well done kevin - again ::) Another well done to Steven (who beat me in the 2nd round) who made the final without making a single break over 7k :o

Kevin got breaks of 8760 & 5470 in the 1st leg, and took a 14490 - 780 lead into the 2nd leg.
Steven messed up at 4300 but quickly returned for another 1460, still failing to make his mark on what had appeared to be a sound table 8. When Kevin made another 3520, Steven conceded.
Full story in BBQ63 - out in November, hopefully.
