Thanks everyone, your congratulations are gratefully received ;D
Like Tommo said, "a broad spectrum of tables", indeed they were. Fortunately, i never had to play table 2 :P, but table 5 was certainly a challenge. :-X The last time i played the break the wrong way round (for most of the match) in any competition must have been the Doctor Martens Open in Northampton v Steve Mariner, all those years ago :-X
Well done to BB Warrior for his achievement and to Chris Toner for reaching the quarters, a brilliant effort in such top company. Congrats to Chris Newson for the plate and keeping us entertained after the main event had finished ;)
A well run competition by everyone involved, Thankyou.
Roll on Guernsey ;D 8-) :P ;)

Sorry for the very late reply (sick children and poorly dog to deal with).
Firstly a few Thank You's...
Big Thanks to Kady for making our lives so, so, so easy on the Sunday, your print outs make everything so easy. Thank you so much. And Thanks to Tony, the staff and Committee at Moneyfields Club we love the venue, and they have been great to us. Thank you so much.
Also Thanks to Graham Crosbie who we usually forget to thank for sorting our lighting and sound. Tony '8' Webster, and Dave Tallack for putting up the tables etc... etc... etc... Di Thorpe for all her Saturday work, dont think it will be long til we hand over the Sat comp to you to run :-) Or was that Daniel Woolvin we were going to pass it on to... (Thanks Dan)
Also Thanks to Chris Toner for your help and making our lives so much easier, well done for getting to the qtr finals, and Well done to Chris Newson for winning the plate, knew you could do it...
Also, Thank you to all the Checker's, it makes life alot easier and the day shorter by people offering to check the games, and finally Thank you for buying Raffle Tickets, it does help fund the day and I think anyone organising an Open would agree very important. Thank you...
Look forward to seeing you all next April.

Thanks to everyone who ran this tournament - it was a great day.
I am trying to get hold of the results for the open to do the rankings and put the results on the AEBBA website. I know Kady has these - I have emailed her - but if someone could let her know I am after these that would be great. My email address is on my profile
