Well done Leon ;D It`s been a long time coming but you certainly deserved it. Taking out Milko, then Gareth, followed by Nigel and finally Steve. An excellent day as usual, well done to Jean & Alan for all the organising. To Colin Robbins and his assistant for the food and of course the Roffey club, which is a brilliant venue.

Congratulations to Leon for winning the Sussex Open yesterday, also to Bill Kerr for winning the Plate competition. 8-) Some good high scoring games throughout the day on tables that offered a variety of challenges to all of the players. Many thanks to the Roffey Club for their hospitality over the weekend, Colin Robbins for his usual excellent food, Dave Alder & the AEBBA and Tarratt's for providing the tables..... and Jean & Alan for their tireless work on the Admin Desk which meant that everything ran so smoothly. ;D The Results and scores are now all on the Sussex Website..... www.sussexbarbilliards.com

Well done Leon, what a tremendous performance over the whole day to win your 1st Open, yourself and Steven were undoubtedly the best players on the day and thoroughly deserved your places in the final.
I thought I had you beat on table 3 after I made an 8,000 brk on it but your 9,000+ brk was one of the best and most interesting breaks under pressure that I've ever seen for such a difficult table....Superb
A fantastic venue and excellently organised by Jean & Alan....well done
Also well done again to Dave Alder and his team of helpers in delivering and the taking down of the AEBBA tables.....must mention Colleen who did her bit to help as well. 8-) :-*

I hear that Henry is looking for a new partner. 8-) ;D ;D ;D

Handz off my player, you two ! Well done also to Milko and Milhouse on your British Open Pairs triumph. Milko is reigning British Open Pairs Champ - in partnership with Mill House, so in my book that automatically makes him a Zed ! ;D ;D ;D

Well... I matched Milko's 8k break bar 10 on Sunday and ended up with 10k in one leg..( I played a little star and gentleman, who did well, just like you Bob and Kev, true gentlemen in the game, play to win gracious in losing but treat women as players, mum did well bless her)) and he beat me but it was a wow game, well done Mr Dewdney!!) or there is dangerous other Chris, brill but don't expect any traditional shots...
We would partner you Bob...but not in Keiths league yet myself...
Now you are confused ::) ::) ::)
