Found you one at Tintern, KP - not far from Lydney : Cherry Tree Inn Forge Rd, Tintern, Monmouthshire. Tel: (01291) 689292, web: www.thecherry.co.ukLocated on the edge of this famous village, The Cherry Tree is thought to date back some 400 years. Many of its original features, such as the beamed ceilings, exposed stone and open fires, are still in place. Always different real ales on tap, and lovers of good food are also well provided for. Children are welcome; the inn is non-smoking throughout apart from one area in the bar, and all major credit cards are accepted. The Cherry Tree also offers accommodation with a choice of four rooms, all ensuite. Still has an ancient bar billiards table.

For anyone planning a holiday in Welsh Wales, this one might be worth looking in on (near Aberystwyth): www.brynarth.co.uk/c-accommodation.phpMind you, a table from that region was sold on eBay not so long ago, so not sure if it will still be there......... :-/ The proprietor however is a member of our Forum (joined almost a year ago to the day).
