The FINAL (at the Blue Ship)
Mill House Dragons 1, Chailey Green 4
Barry Timson 3400, *Henry Brooks 9320 *Graham Daniels 7060, Ron Sheridan 2660 tommo 210, *Dave Ingram 10,180 *Graham & Margo 4030, Dave Knight & Henry 9120 Barry & Victoria 460, *Dave Ingram & Ron 7350
Well done to the new Champs, worthy winners on an excellent Blue Ship table. BBW gave me a chance on 5k, but I caught a shot too thick when chasing and dragged it onto a peg, and Dave put it out of reach on his next visit to put Chailey 2-1 up. Game Four saw Graham kick off with 3600 and Henry break down on 1900. Margo pegged 400 and "enter stage left" Dave Knight ! His first action in the match was a magnificent 5k break which proved conclusive. A fifth frame was played in a more relaxed manner.
Many thanks to the venue for their good hospitality and some nice refreshments. The Presentation was made by Colin Cathie and Ding Johnson on behalf of the League.
Regretting now giving the Warrior directions to the Blue Ship - should have sent 'em to the Blue Idol instead! ;D ;D

The Dun Horse won 4-1 last night against the Railway and I thoroughly enjoyed their company with good laughs and all games played in great spirit and competitive.
Expect Ian will post the scores later when he has a chance.

A great night with the Railway lads with a couple of close games.
Thanks to Tony Temple for prepairing the table sorting out the Buffett & Presenting the Trophies on behalf of the League.
We all enjoyed taking part in The Jubilee Cup, it would be nice to see more teams from the League take part but it was good to see some new teams take part.
Congratulations to the Plough on winning it first time out.

Just so you are aware, the Jubileee Cup is now in the Laughing Fish at Isfield. Made sense to put it in there as 3 of the players that played in the cup now play there on a Monday.
