A well attended Finals night last night, after a bit of a slow start we managed to catch up & a reasonable Finnish time.
I will give a full write up tomorrow when I have more time.

Big up to Steve Eely the new Horsham Singles Champion. He won it once previously, in 1981/82, 29 years ago - the sort of statistic I am fond of, especially as Margo and I have just won the Mixed which we first won 30 years ago, the year before we got married! 8-)
Good also to meet up with a 'blast from the past'.........former County player Pete Wickersham (of Hornbrook, Blue Ship, Horsham A).

Clive you might be interested to know a blast from the past turned up at Worthing finals night, the first ever All England singles winner - Mike Hinton, I am sure you have met him before.

Hi Roger,
Yes, thanks for that. Mike has shown an interest in the game recently and actually joined the Forum a year ago - though he hasn't posted anything yet.
It would be good if he reads this and turns up for Horsham's Jubilee date!
