Three's at Headington Con Club.
1. Grant Johnson 2050 beat Chris Webb 1960 2. Phil Clark 2080 beat Andy Webb 1250 3. Dick Stowe 1130 lost to Jason Smith 1890 4. Grant 2650 lost to Chris 3740 5. Phil 3450 beat Andy 1020 6. Dick 860 beat Jason 0 BP
Before we start the table as the scores show was crap, break almost impossible and the balls they would also congregate on the back cushion and prove difficult to move from there. Grant beat Chris in a game that was to be the theme for the whole night (low scores), but an exciting game in the end with the last ball deciding it. Same with Phil's game, hard to get a decent score but managed to creep ahead and hold it. Jason won again a what was a scrappy game until near the end when he pulled away. Chris became the only player on the night to do the complete break, one up and double whilst playing this game, but only once. Phil beat Andy easier in this game to put our team ahead by 1500 meaning Jason would have to beat my score by 1500 to win, but a very poor game by both players (pressure) made this match a bit of an anti- climax, as Jason managed to black peg twice during this game. :-[ Gladiator Club 4 Masons Arms 2, (Not as previously stated) :-[ ::)

I dont know what your talking about, I play there and yes the break is tricky but its all there and FTR you played there last year so you should know how to play it - lol

:-[ :-[ DOH! ::) :-[ ;D ;D
FTR I did not play at the Headington Con Club last year as I only played 1 game and that was at home against the Dolphin. I had a year off last year. People could say I have a year off every year but then again I resemble that remark. ;D
