Gardeners - 2 - 3- Swan `B`.
Billy Kerr 4,220 v 1,550 Barry Holt. Adam Squires 9,730 v 2,550 Trevor Foard. Steve Aylmore 3,420 v 6,460 Matthew Squire. Richard Cunningham 2,560 v 7,780 Roger Taylor. Tony Jenner 5,140 v 7,380 Doug Mahy.
Great evening, the Gardeners were very unlucky to lose scores at vital times in there games, with the Swan taking advantage of the mistakes. The result could have been very different!

Dolphin 3 - 2 Henty
L.Hickman 6280 - 610 A.Cleveland D.Hickman 1840 - 2400 J.Whittle P.Hickman 1170 - 650 J.Shurey C.Oakley 3930 - 1750 R.Appleby B.Goodwin 1630 - 1880 R.Driver
Table still not up to form unfortunately as it's been moved a foot or 2 into a corner and the home team seemed to moan more about the table then the opposition but nevertheless a wins a win. Traditional opening game of the season for the Captain went well but I broke down on just over 3k trying to perfect the tricky 1 up that no-one managed to split and left it short. No luck from Andy gave me a few more goes at the table to round off the first game. 1-0 With Danny unavailable, Damo's return after what feels like an age took on the visitor's captain and gave him a good run for his money, leading it right up until the end where a few no scores at the end of the game gave James enough table time to prevail victorious. 1-1 Pete looked comfortably ahead by a few hundred to Jay until he did a Danny (sorry Dan) and mowed the BP down, but still managed to claw his way back to the 1k he lost. 2-1 Chris made light work of Ros with very confident play with a keen eye to beat my break but only managed half that, nevertheless he kept his eye in and with some very whippy play both did well but Chris had enough to win. 3-1 With the win in the bag, Ben look set to take the 5th but a case of mind over matter meant that the table played him a little and Rob and himself battled it out but Rob pipped him at the post to a more friendly score of 3-2.
