Duke of Wellington 3 New Sussex Hotel A 2
Henry Brooks 7,960 - 6,720* Kevin Hall Best game of the night, Chunky opened with with 6k plus, Henry replied with 7k plus leaving them both a bit of time to add a few more points. 1-0 ;D
Mal Spier 10,500* - 1,210 Kevin Tunstall A 5k+ opener for Mal, KT got the balls back straight away but missed the 50 hole on his first split and was off shortly after, Mal made sure next visit. 2-0 ;)
Dave Ingram 1,030 - 12,450* Jim Greensted Chances for us both on the first couple of visits, Foxy made sure on his 3rd visit with a good break of 8k+ to play the table out. 2-1 ;)
Nigel Senior 2,940* - 2,080 Rick Dewdney Hard to know how to describe this game... both had plenty of goes at the break and found interesting and different ways to come off the table, often losing their scores in the process... Nigel eventually fell over the line to give us the points. 3-1 :o ;)
Chris Tupper 4,360 - 6,730* Chris Lawman Lolly lost his opening break, Tupps got balls back but was off on 2.5k, Lolly knocked in a good 6k to make sure leaving Tupps a bit of time at the end. 3-2 ;)

Driving 60 miles to play on the Stadium top was a joy. Can't say this about the Atlas top. Disapointing... it's not the same. And why... moving a top is not a good idea during the season. Madness.

Game 1. a very close game which both players were neck and neck until the last three mins when Bob got the break back and played a steady break of 1600 to finish off Chris. 0-1 Game 2. Steve broke off with a steady 5k break which broke the previous best break in div 2. John never got going. 1-1. Game 3. Bepo off cheaply not getting the break. Kim off cheaply. Bepo managed to get the break back first and managed the break at the third attempt. 1-2. Game 4. Colin always in control of this match not getting the score he deserved. 2-2. Game 5. Matt off very quickly not getting the break. I played a steady game with a 3k break and a couple of other breaks. 3-2. A great match and now we go into a Christmas break in the lead in Div 2.
